MIKA HOLLIDAY LENTZ
Mika Holliday Lentz has traveled the world Producing for clients such as Discovery, History Channel, PBS, NOVA/WGBH, Fine Living Channel, the German news program Galileo, and National Geographic Specials and Exhibitions. She has contributed to several award winning documentaries including Failure is Not an Option for History Channel, Hitler’s Lost Sub for NOVA, To The Moon for NOVA, Pearl Harbor: Legacy of Attack for National Geographic Specials, Fire on the Mountain for History Channel, Pearl Harbor USS Oklahoma: The Final Story for PBS and USS Indianapolis: The Final Chapter for PBS.
Specializing in historical/expedition filmmaking, Mika produced and co-directed a one-hour documentary for the Discovery Times Channel about a group of pilots flying undercover for the CIA in Laos during the Vietnam War titled, The Ravens: Covert War in Laos. In addition, she produced and wrote multiple episodes for the diving/history series, Deep Sea Detectives, on the History Channel, including Secret Underwater Caves, The USS Perry, and Sinking by Sabotage. She also travels around the US Producing and Directing profile segments for the German news program, Galileo. Mika has won a Bronze and Silver Telly award and earned several Cine Golden Eagle nominations.
Mika recently produced a documentary feature on behaviorally challenged kids and the effects of their behavior on families, public schools, and the juvenile legal system - The Kids We Lose.
In her free time, Mika enjoys spontaneous dance parties with her three girls and learning to play the ukulele.
